There has been an accident in the pool the pool will be closed until 5 o'clock at which time I will take a look at the chemicals to see if it is clear to open so stay updated on the blog. Thank you

Address for the swim is 246 great hill rd Litchfield ct.  Turn at sign for camp Mohawk. Go down the dirt driveway and follow boat launch signs. We are leaving from the boat launch.

Championships

Last chance entries due to me by 4:00pm. Please text me if your child has not told us they will be at championships.  

The way championships will work is we will meet tonight and see who needs to swim at trials in the morning.  I will update the blog tonight after meeting.  

Any event that has less than 8 swimmers in it will automatically qualify for finals and doesn't swim that event in the morning. 

Trials in the morning starts at 9:00am.  

Warm up at 8:00am. Finals will depend on trials length but count on an 11:00am start to finals and you won't be late.

Easiest way:  
Go down Beach street almost until route 4 in Goshen.  Take a left into the entrance of Woodridge lake.  Follow until you get to a stop sign.  Go left. Stay on East Hyerdale for about 1.5 miles.  Pool parking and Tennis courts will be on your right.  Park in this lot. Press button if no attendant and gate is down.

Swim across Mohawk Pond

The 10:00am group will have the option to join us and swim across Mohawk Pond on August 2nd. The swim will take place at 9:00am at Mohawk pond boat launch.

Please sign up for a great night on Friday with the return of the pretzel truck!  There will also be drinks poolside available.

Swim Lesson Information

Swim Lessons come in two forms:

Private:  $30.00 per half hour and are designed around your schedule and teacher availability.

Group Lessons:

8 half hour lessons for $100.00.  The groups will have a cap of eight in a lesson. The minimum to run the group lesson will be four.

Group lesson times are subject to change: 

Sign ups will be on poster board in the pool house by June 11.

The swim team will start on June 20th!

Please bring a suit, goggles and a cap if you like.  (If you have long hair it is definitely preferred).

The Swim Team Practice Schedule will be:

10 years old and up (or based on ability):   10:00-11:15am

under 10 years old:                                      11:15am-12:00pm.

If you bring have a child in the 10 and under group please stay at the club so we can contact you if needed or assign an adult to contact if needed.

Summer 2016!!

Hello!

Welcome to the swim blog for Summer 2016!

We are looking forward to another great and hot summer!  

The pool will open for weekends only on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

The swim team will start on June 20th!

I will update the schedule as we get closer to the summer days.  In case we are able to open more often. 

We are very lucky to have the same crew joining us from last year with one exception, Faith has moved on to more great accomplishments in the business world and we have replaced her with Lydia Mahan.  

Natalie will also be joining us this year but her schedule will be a little different, therefore on Monday and Tuesday's we will have a different guard running the youngest swimmer lanes.
